To ensure your teeth are suitable for tooth whitening, and to decide which option would be best for you, dental appointments with one of our lovely dentists and subsequent visits with our friendly hygienists are booked in to ensure you achieve the best possible results from our whitening procedure.
An examination appointment with the dentist is necessary to assess your current dental condition and to diagnose any oral diseases that are present in the mouth such as tooth decay or gingivitis. These would need to be treated prior to starting the teeth whitening process. The appointment(s) with the hygienist are to follow up and manage gum issues, perform a scale and clean, and to have a thorough consultation regarding teeth whitening.
Impressions of your teeth are taken to fabricate clear plastic trays that are custom fitted, with a follow up appointment scheduled in to try on the trays and inform you of the instructions for use (for take home), or a longer appointment is booked in with the hygienist to begin the In-Chair Whitening process, where you will walk away with a brighter smile on the same day!
